1 Week Til Z-Day!!!

That's right. One week until shooting begins (and ends) for Gun Barista. Excuse me for a minute while I just go over here and have a minor heart attack.

While I am not new to making short films, for some reason this one feels different. Perhaps it's because I'm going for something out of my comfort zone, not filmed in my house, and involving my largest cast (yep, more than Cherry Tee Hill even).

Whatever it is, I've hit the panic button.

Irene finally gets the make up chair treatment 

To be fair, I am hitting a few panic buttons at the moment and most don't relate to Gun Barista, so they don't really count here.

Someone once said it's important to be nervous about something, as it means you're pushing yourself beyond your comfort zone. Perhaps that is it. Gun Barista has been a spur of the moment kind of production, although it's had more time than all but my first short for pre production.

This is why you should always use a sharp razor when shaving. 

Either way, all is going as planned and I guess it's just doing everything else I can before the big day.

Everyone who comes to my house gets the zombie treatment now.
