Woke up this morning to grey skies and a blowy day, but this afternoon its perked up and the sun is out. Its been another good day for getting the washing dry, I have been very good and brought it all off the line and ironed it straight away..... my halo is gleeming :-) While the sun was shining I took a few pictures of the garden, the blossom on the damson tree is looking pretty, I hope its productive this year, last year wasn't!
The 99p Forsythia I bought from Wilko a few years ago always gives a good show, the bright yellow cheers up any garden.
The Primulas, love these, I know its spring when these little beauties are flowering.
I bought these Cowslips last week on a trip to the garden centre, it was a bit windy and they didn't want to stand up straight for their photo taken. I should have got down on my knees and taken a better one!
With the washing all done and the garden all tidy courtesy of hubby there wasn't much left to do but a little bit of sewing. I had a few scraps laying about in a bag earmarked for some little tissue pouches, I managed 5 as that's all the packs of tissues I had left, the pink one is mine and was made a while ago. They are so easy to make and are great for a table top sale or to give as little gifts.
That's all for today folks, apart from we are having homemade mince and onion pie, carrots cabbage and peas for dinner this evening with fruit and greek yogurt for dessert.
